Les was responsible for digitising the STEEL studio - he developed fully computerised pre-press networks and revolutionised production of DM for national campaigns with high resolution in-house production. At the time, every other agency was outsourcing this service to reprographic houses.
He also moved the studio into new media - developing multi-media, touch-screen kiosk projects for clients including The Mirror Group and SeaFrance and CD ROM projects for clients like the NHS.
Les set up STEEL's dedicated technical arm in 1999 - bringing dynamic content development and hosting in-house and completing the STEEL end-to-end web vision.
