We Love The Web

When TalkTalk wanted to really engage with their audience, beyond their normal sales and marketing communications, they turned to STEEL for a solid, strategic approach.
STEEL created ‘We love the web’, an interactive content rich hub on the TalkTalk website that helps TalkTalk customers make the most of their broadband.
Crucially, nothing makes it onto ‘We love the web’ unless it conforms to the mantra of ‘you decide, we listen’. In that way, we ensure that TalkTalk only delivers content that their customers really want. This includes topics such as:
- The Top 5s – our monthly pick of the best websites on a particular topic, voted for by users
- The Water Cooler – the funniest viral videos from across the web
- Learn It – the very latest thinking from TalkTalk on a variety of hot topics
- Digital Heroes – to date, over 32,000 votes have been cast for the Digital Heroes awards which is currently the most visited page of ‘We love the web’
‘We love the web’ is supported by a monthly ezine to drive interest in the latest news & content. The most recent ezine in November 2009 smashed industry averages with a deliverability of over 95% and a 30% unique open rate.
